Your guide, Merlin Grant, is a sixth generation Arizonan. His ancestors came out west and carved abundant lives out the red earth of Arizona. They chased wild mustangs through arroyos and the towering red buttes of the painted desert. They plotted maps and routes to tame our labyrinthine canyon country. They befriended the natives and drew from the vast amounts of natural wisdom they held. They explored the wonder that is Arizona. The desire to do so was innate, as is ours.
